This teacher is using a wiki to create word walls. This particular word wall is for common words that you would find in a story about super heroes or villians. Action words, super hero names, and other words that you might find in a comic book or super story are welcome.

These sites gives you a categorized list of hundreds of freeware programs that "can be extracted to any directory and run independently without prior installation." This means these programs can be installed on a USB flash drive or flash memory card, burned to a CD-R, and copied from PC to PC by simply copying the files.

When I began working at ITSCO, one of the first "best educational sites" I heard about what Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators. While I have continued to point teachers to her guide, I hadn't taken time, myself, to keep up with the latest and greatest in her virtual world.
