When you hang out with "techies," you always learn something... Such was the case at our School 2.0 Kick-off this week. Melissa and I needed to alternate use of the screen with 2 projectors and we thought we would have to mess with the projector, but alas, Don to the rescue! Low and behold, if you're in Presentation Mode, just type a "B" on the keyboard and the screen will go black! It works on both Mac and Windows... Great tip Don, thanks!
