Here is some information regarding Praxis III Assessor Training:
One of the best pieces of professional development an educator can have is the Praxis III Assessor Training. Assessors are needed who teach in any field, particularly primary education, science, and math. We currently have assessors who are classroom teachers, principals, superintendents, vocational teachers, prison teachers, professors in teacher education, entry year program coordinators, and supervisors. Whatever the educator's current role, the professional development comes back to the schools in several ways by encouraging others (e.g., entry year teachers, mentors, other classroom teachers) to maintain the high teaching standards as set forth by ETS in their Pathwise mentoring programs, a part of the mentor support required for first year teachers by our state legislature and the Ohio Department of Education. It also provides the common language for a framework that encourages student involvement in the promotion of lessons that teach to extend learning. Finally, it heightens awareness of the teaching standards needed in order to pass Praxis III, required for an entry year teacher to advance to a 5-year license.

Praxis III Assessor Training will be offered in the Ross-Pike County Educational Service District, 475 Western Avenue, Chillicothe, in the conference
